This year the father of my great-grandfather founded a firm for
the production of toys, as for example crossbows and rifles.
His three sons (Emil, Arno and Willi) took over this enterprises
in 1918 as brothers Kaden KG. They continued and extended the production
with various wood goods. Emil led later
the
branch in Silberhütte. After the 2nd World War
the son of Willi, my grandfather Henry, took over the production.
He presented his products, e.g. the doll´s pram and
the wooden toy lorry in the Leipzig Trade Fair. In
1972 the company was nationalized and some time later Henry
left.
He began with the manufacturing
of
fretworks and candle arches.
His daughter married Karl Harzer
whose father manufactured different pyramids as a wood toys
maker master. In the nineteen eighties my father Karl took over the
paternal company and increased the production with
handicraft art of the region. So in 1993 I founded my firm "Sven Harzer,
wood art articles of the ore mountains".
Basis for my work
were the
candle arches
of my grandfather Henry which are still available
in my today's assortment. We increase constantly
the variety of good of educational game stuff and the
manufacturing of game
parts
is also a
big part of our production.
The "Leipzig Fair Cadeaux" as well
as the "Nuremberg toy fair" have become a central
part of the presentation of our products. From this year
the "Olbernhau
house fair" also belongs to it.
